Tide: full moon strong tidal movement
Decided to hit the beach again Saturday morning (holiday weekend, not the most ideal day to go). There were boats running around everywhere...at least 3 boats came full throttle within casting distance of me and waved at me completely oblivious to the fact that I was fishing. The bite suffered because of this but I still managed a couple tripletail along with a few trash can species. I saw a few schools of big snook swimming in the surf but they were more into spawning than feeding. On Monday morning I wanted to get away from the crowds so I made the long trek for baby tarpon in the deep creeks. I ended up going 3/4 all on the DOA shrimp. Those little guys are always so much fun!
