Weather: 5mph Southwest Wind, 60 degrees
Tide: 0.7 high at 9:05pm

Finished my last exam this morning which means I am done with schoolwork until January! We hit docklights again tonight for snook (catch and release since Dec. 1). There was good tidal movement for the first two hours and that's pretty much when the action occured. I think our tally for the night was 5 snook to 26" and 2 snapper to 12". Best bait (as usual) was a DOA CAL (greenback #419). I've concluded that the canal system we fish is not harbouring the big winter snook like I had planned. I do know they winter far up the Caloosahatchee so I will be trying searching for them the rest of December.
