Tide: 0.5ft at 10pm
Only caught one fish today, a 32" redfish that was tailing behind a stingray. Did find a bunch of tarpon (all under 15lbs) near the launch as soon as I got out there. I jumped one on a glow/orange DOA shrimp out of a school of 30+ fish. The tide was pretty high but the redfish were out in full force anyways, I just couldn't catch them..Josh didn't have any luck either except for a couple ladyfish. The one red I did catch was on an Exude Shrimp (white/chartreuse tail). I was still casting to tailers half an hour after the sun set. I may try some new baits out tomorrow and perhaps downgrade my 25# leader.
