Tide: -0.1ft Low at 8pm, 1.7ft at 3am
I finally had a chance to put baits out after a few week hiatus. Laura and I tried a new beach close to the condo. I ran two baits out and they remained untouched until the early morning hours. Laura hooked up first with a mystery fish that she had trouble controlling for a good portion of the fight. She eventually brought it inside the sandbar 25 minutes later and we were surprised to see a big goliath grouper. It taped out at 6'4" although it wasn't an accurate measurement. It was probably around 400lbs. I hooked up in the middle of her battle and landed an 8ft ish lemon.
