I launched the Pro Angler just after 11 this morning in an area that's protected from the wind. I pedaled north along the shore and immediately saw large mullet getting blasted on the surface. I don't know why I had a topwater tied on on such a cold day but I threw it out parallel to the shoreline and a school of big jacks fought over and demolished it!. Last thing I expected to run into today. I landed 3 that were 15-20lbs and lost 3 more that straightened the trebles. I let the wind direct me around for the next couple hours and continued throwing topwater. I had a few snook blowup on it but they very lethargic in their attempt so I switched to a DOA CAL shadtail and sightfished a couple cruising the sawgrass.
