Weather: 15 mph Northeast Wind, Sunny
Tide: 0.9ft High at 9:30am, 0.3 Low at 6pm

We had our first strong cold front of the season blow through last night and drop the air temps to the mid 50s. I needed a change of scenery this morning so I drove around aimlessly until I ended up at a kayak launch on the river. The water was dark brown with hardly any visibility, typical upriver characteristics I suppose. I had one hit on topwater, a 31" snook that was unexpectedly chillin on a shaded shoreline. I went back out in the afternoon and poled many miles of flats but did not come across much.
