Weather: 10-15 mph Southwest Wind
Tide: 0.7ft Low at 10am, 2.8ft High at 4:30pm

This morning I headed out to a shallow grassflat for the low tide. Rainbands passed through every half hour which kicked up the wind and made it very difficult to work the flat. Once the tide turned to incoming the redfish belly crawled onto the grass in pretty good numbers. I managed two tailers at 23" and 26" before the storms forced me off the water at noon. I headed back out in the afternoon to catch the crazy high dropping tide. I explored a couple saltwater lakes and actually found a few tarpon rolling in one. May potentially be a winter hideaway for them. I jumped 3 nice ones but they got the best of me again. On the way out I picked up a couple small reds and a flounder. The golden bream "MirrOlure Lil John" rigged weedless was the bait of choice today.
