Tide: 2.1ft High at 12pm
Went for a long 4.5 mile pedal this morning in the darkness for some sunrise snook fishing. The snook were a no show but the reds were waking pretty regularly off the islands. I put 5 reds to 30" in the yak on the "holographic orange shad" skitter walk in a couple hours. A few storms blew through but after they passed I ran into some tarpon meandering about on the slack tide. I hooked two with a DOA CAL but lost both, one spit it and the other got me under a dock.
