Weather: 5-15 mph East wind
Tide: 1.8ft High at 7pm, Low at 1am, High at 7:30am

Last night we decided to paddle a couple of miles to shark fish a new beach close to a pass. We had fresh baits out from 9pm- 6am but things didn’t start happening until the early morning hours. At the dead low tide John hooked a seamonster on his light spinning rod with pinfish as bait. About 45 minutes later and 1/4 mile down the beach, we saw that it was a stingray with a 46” wingspan. A couple of hours later the shark rods with big baits started going off. There were quite a few dropped baits but John landed two 7fters (bull and lemon), and I got a small bull and blacktip.
