Tide: 1.0ft Low at 8am, 2.2ft High at 2pm
This morning I was up before civil twilight with tarpon on the agenda for the day. I planned to hit the beaches but the wind was already howling through the trees when I pulled out of the driveway so I diverted to the sound instead. I threw the net two dozen times before I was content with bait (my arms were telling me to stop). The wind surprisingly died completely and the tarpon were already cavorting in the warm waters when I arrived. I ended up hooking 3 but only leadered 1 that chewed the fluoro before I got the money shot. I got the tarpon bug again!
