Tide: 1ft Low at 10am, 2ft High at 4pm
The truck was loaded up for a tarpon trip this morning but I just couldn't get myself out of bed so early. I still wanted to fish so around 11 I decided to just make a shark bait trip out of the afternoon. It only took an hour to fill the cooler up and since the weather was so nice I relaunched the PA a few miles south. I wasted no time and went straight to where I knew the redfish were going to be. It did not take long before the black backs started cruising near the mangroves as the tide came up. After working the fish for a while I came up on a giant cruising the tannic water. He spooked after I fluttered the DOA a couple feet ahead of him but a few minutes later he came back and this time decided to eat...34"!
