Weather: Cloudy, 15 mph southeast wind
Tide: -0.2ft low at 6am, slow incoming til 9pm

Well after a week away from the water I headed out this morning for some backcountry snook. I launched from a couple different spots plugging the shorelines and found a pretty good bite in the early afternoon. Most of the snook were 10 feet off the bank in about 6 feet of water and were surprisingly very aggressive. I landed a dozen if not more and also lost a bruiser that straightened the hook after violently shaking his head. Mama snook and I never get along!
