Tide: 0.9ft High at 7am, 0.7ft Low at 11:30am, 1.7ft High at 5pm
Today I fished the IFA Kayak Tour out of Placida. My gameplan was the same as always, topwater trout early and jigging for reds later on. The plan panned out but the fish just weren't big. I caught 8 trout to 20in and 4 reds to 26in which didn't warrant driving 1.5hr to weigh-in. The best part of the day was thinking I had a giant red on only to see that it was a 35in snook. Got lucky too as I only had 20lb leader.
