June 27-29, 2012

Weather: 5-10 mph West Wind, Sunny, High of 94, Low of 76
Tide: 1.6ft High at 9pm, 1.3ft Low Tide at 2am

The tropical weather finally subsided on Wednesday so I headed out for a quick bait run in the afternoon. The water was quite clear given all the rain and wind we've had. I spotted a few snook while pedaling around and eventually got a pretty good one to eat.

The following night I met up with a few friends visiting from Louisiana. We had 3 runs and capitalized on all of them, landing a 6'2" bull, 7'5" lemon, and 6'7" bull. They were thrilled to catch something big!

I had some bait leftover so the next night I fished the bay solo for a change of scenery. The pup sharks were a pain but I did land a nice bull that put up a good fight on the Avet.
