Tide: 1.6ft High at 3pm, -0.2ft Low at 10:30pm
I picked up my new Hobie for 2012 a couple days ago from Estero River Outfitters and took it out this afternoon to break it in on the high tide. I launched at 3pm and caught a slot snook on the first mangrove shoreline I pulled up to. I then attempted to access a hidden lake but got lost in the maze of creeks en route. I finished the day casting at points and cuts and got the slam just as the sun was setting.
