Tide: 0.7ft High at 10am
I headed upriver this morning hoping the snook made their migration for the winter. I didn't find any snook but around 10am I saw two tarpon roll just off the leeward side of an island. I pitched my lure in front of them and got slammed after two twitches. It didn't jump and a few minutes later I saw that it was a jack. I love to catch big jacks but what a disappointment! I moved to some nearby structure and found a bunch more jacks tearing up bait schools. I had nonstop action with them for about an hour and headed home feeling like I just hit the gym!
