Tide: 1.5ft Low at 9pm, 3ft high at 2:30am

With the start of the fall migration about two weeks away, we decided to soak some baits last night to get a feel for what the shark situation was like before the mayhem ensued. This was my first trip back to the beach since the solo lemon trip back in July. The bite was slow, but relative to the season it was expected. We had two committed runs, one on John's 12/0 and the other on my TLD25, both of which were on short drops about 75 yards out. They were both lemons measuring in at 7'6 and a big daddy 9'2.
