Tide: 1.0ft High at 12am
I needed a snook upgrade for the 321fish tournament so I fished some canals near the house Thursday night. The tide rushed in hard as the remnants of Hurricane Irene passed by. Only a few dock lights held snook but they had lockjaw. Once the tide slackened a bit I switched to the glow "Lil John" which seemed to get their attention. The largest I caught was just short of 27" but it was hell trying to keep him away from the docks.
