Tide: 2.2ft High at 5:30pm
After a few weeks off the water I headed out yesterday to catch the late afternoon falling tide. I fished an area where several small mangrove passages converge and hit the jackpot. I caught 4 reds to 28" and 7 trout to 21" and had at least twice that in blowups on the skitter walk. Light was getting low so I packed up and headed to some dock lights for snook. Before I even launched the kayak I could hear them popping in all directions. I caught about a dozen little guys until I ran out of leader material and called it a night.
