Tide: -0.2ft Low at 6:30pm
Pat, John, and I went back to the same beach as last Friday searching for the monster. We had three rods out with big baits waiting for that one run which finally came at a quarter to 1am. While we never got a hook in her, based on the bite radius and speed of the run, we knew we missed a hammer. Frustrating to say the least, but that's part of the game. The highlight of the night was we got to witness a young adult loggerhead turtle crawl through our camp and lay its eggs near the dunes. Very cool experience!
