Tide: 0ft low at 7:30am, 1.4ft at 1:30pm, 0.3ft low at 7:30pm
I took my buddy Kevin out kayak fishing this morning at 9:30 in Pine Island looking for the big trout we were on last weekend. We fished pretty hard but only came up with a 23" snook that snuck into the trout spot. The morning was pretty much shot with the excessive wind but we hung around until sunset for some beach action. We put 5 baits out all of which got hit within 20 minutes of the drop. We pulled the hooks on two, broke a hook on one, and landed a blacktip at 5'3" and a sandbar at 6'9".
